Native El Pasoans, Andy and Allyn Echaniz got into the concrete business in April of 1985 after Andy had worked for over seven years throughout the Southeastern United States as an Engineer for CBI, an international engineering and construction firm and for nearly three years with the Corps of Engineers at White Sands and Fort Bliss.
Over time, Andy and Allyn have brought the beauty and strength of concrete to homes and businesses throughout the El Paso and southern New Mexico area. Andy is always out in the field, making sure that each job meets his exacting standards, while Allyn handles the financial and business end of the company. You may have had the opportunity to admire their work at any of a great number of beautiful homes or businesses like the GECU, University Medical Center (formerly Thomason Hospital) The Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, Cleveland Square Park, numerous car dealerships, or the first two of the Twelve Traveler’s statues, to name just a few.
In 2003, Andy and Allyn’s son, Aaron, joined the company, originally as Sales Manager, and presently as Director of Operations. Although Bomanite Artistic Concrete has been in business since 1985, Andy and Aaron continue to develop and expand their expertise in concrete not only by constantly working with it, but also by attending seminars, workshops, and forums every year in order to keep abreast of the latest advances in the use and technology of concrete.
